Notes for Abstraction: |
- The abstractor assigns the event identification (ID) number for each plasma event being evaluated. Each allowable value is only used one time and is determined by the order in which it was administered.
- Select the Plasma Event ID associated with the Transfusion Order for each plasma transfusion event.
- Abstract up to three plasma transfusion events per patient.
- Include plasma transfusions administered in the emergency room or observation unit.
